Today we were delighted to have as our preacher Rev. Paul Davis, who is the current President of the Congregational Federation.

Paul spoke about his life in medicine before he trained to be a minister, and gave us some interesting personal insights.

He preached about Nicodemus, and how in John’s gospel he appears three times, each time growing in faith until at the end he was one of those who took charge of Jesus’ body after the Crucifixion. A journey with Christ that started with questioning and ended with completely trusting in Jesus.

Paul suggested that Nicodemus could be a role model for us all.
