Newark Congregational Church

I’m pleased to announce that our church are planning an 11 mile pilgrimage from Navenby to Lincoln Cathedral on Thursday 11 September 2025.

We will set off from St Peter’s Church, Navenby at 10.00 aiming to arrive at the cathedral by around 4.30 for a drink and a snack in the excellent café there before joining in with Evensong in the cathedral at 5.30.

We’ll be following the route outlined in the Journeys of Faith Guidebook, visiting a total of 9 churches and reflecting on issues of faith as we walk. 2 of us tried the route out yesterday – it’s a lovely walk.

As well as completing the whole route there will be options to do sections of the route which range from 0.4 to 4.2 miles.

Further details and logistics have yet to be resolved but at this stage I am looking for expressions of interest in taking part. The walk is open to any people of faith or seeking faith to take part – not just people from our church. We’d love you to join us.
